Occu-Med's pool of occupational health nurses are available for nurse placement assignments with employers who have ongoing needs and require onsite hands-on nursing & case-management assistance. Our nurses can be assigned on an ongoing basis, or for shorter-term relief or maternity coverage.
We can even job-share by assigning one of our nurses to fill out your health care team. And, if you wish, we can help significantly reduce your ongoing nursing costs:

(not all jobs require a certified occupational health nurse). - by applying a combination of ongoing on-site nursing services and mobile health testing.

Our Occupational Health Records Custody service can assist employers who have accumulated employee health records, but no longer have a health professional on-staff to look after them.
Employers who previously had an occupational health nurse or department, or who are 'between nurses', must ensure that employee health records are protected -- and that confidentiality of health records is maintained.
Occu-Med health professionals can act as custodian of the keys to the records room or cabinets and assume responsibility for managing access to the records. This service allows records to be retrieved when required, while allowing the employer to remain fully compliant with legislation governing health records.
With Occu-Med acting as the impartial third-party employers are able to address union and employee group concerns about confidentiality while continuing to maintain health records on-site.
If desirable, Occu-Med can relocate records to our records management facilities for historical storage, as a way of dealing with closures of facilities or entire workplaces.
